Compared to the mech rider, this is a perfect idea for a set, with lots of pieces for the price. Though we question whether Jay needs another jet, this set is great for young builders who have just moved on from 4+ sets, and it makes a fine gift.
Like the other core sets, this one has extra parts you can add on to make the jet bigger. Once built, it looks like a stunning little jet, and there is also a stud shooter for a play feature.
The set also features a Jay figure, which is nothing too special.
The set will release worldwide on January 1st 2023.
In its 12-year history, Ninjago has had some weird sets, but nothing this weird before: this is a mech riding a bike, and Lego Marvel have decided to do the same too. But today we’re talking about the Ninjago one. The colour scheme is very interesting to me, since we don’t get many sets in the following colours: red, black and gold. At the time of writing, we are unsure if the bike can be used without the mech, but we know for sure that Kai can go in the mech.
This may be one of the only good things I can say about this set, for certain reasons.
It’s way overpriced at £40.00 with a piece count of 312, and there are lots of other sets that are cheaper and have more pieces. One I could certainly mention is batmobile-the-penguin-chase-76181 for £25, which has 392 parts.
The second thing is that, if the bike can have no figure on it, I feel like the bike can only be used for one thing.
The final thing I have to talk about is the minifigure selection in this set. Though you get the Bone King, all the other figures will be available in cheaper sets.
Here are the figures you get in the set:
Kai
Nya
Bone King
Bone Hunter
In my opinion, I would only pick this set up in a sale.
Lego Ninjago is back in 2023 with more dragons, mechs and bikes, and this set is a dragon for Earth Ninja Cole, who hasn’t had many dragons in Ninjago’s 12 years. Finally, we have one for Cole. We last saw him with a dragon as part of the Skybound theme (season 6), and now, 7 years later, we have a bigger new one.
The dragon is quite similar to last year’s core dragons, but this one is black, orange and gold and has a brand new exclusive flag.
One thing I do not like about this set is the wings, which are very short.
The set features 2 Lego minifigures: the first is Cole in his evolution suit from last year, and then we have a new Bone scorpio as the villain.
Stride into battle with this brand new Lego NINJAGO set featuring two new mechs. This set is good to pick up if you have the money, because we don’t usually get mechs for Lloyd; the only one before this was the Golden Mech, which had a remake in 2020.
In this set there are two mechs, one for Lloyd and one for a Bone Warrior, and both have weapons. Lloyd’s even has wings on the back.
Another good thing about this set is that it features an exclusive Lloyd figure and a collectable flag first seen in last year’s core wave.
Personally, I will definitely be purchasing this set.
If you are a fan of Paris but can’t afford to visit the country, you can bring an iconic landmark to your home with Lego’s brand new Eiffel Tower. It is the tallest set to date, measuring an astonishing 149cm tall, and has 10001 pieces. The tower itself is split into 4 different parts, with the bottom being the biggest and the smallest at the top, with the French flag on top.
