This set is from The Clone Wars. There are two models to build. One is a throne for a new version of Darth Maul, and the back of it opens up. What I really like is the part under the throne where there is a gun, which relates to the Ninjago set Throne Room Battle. The other part of the set is a cell that Ahsoka can trap Darth Maul in.
This set is another Empire set. One thing I noticed is that it fits the 2 stormtroopers and the Artillery Stormtrooper in the vehicle. There are lots of things to do with this set, which is launching on August 1st. This set is from The Mandalorian and is one of the only ones not to include him. Here are the names of the figures included in this set:
| Greef Karga, | Stormtrooper 2x | Artillery Stormtrooper |
The new Star Trek: Prodigy is made by the same people who did Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. This was surprising when it was revealed. This is also why they haven’t been doing Ninjago, and because of Prodigy’s connection with Ninjago, we may potentially get some Prodigy Lego sets.
One more thing: Zane is based on Spock.
This new app lets you take a pile of Lego bricks and scan it, and it tells you what you can build. I would really recommend this app, because if you lose parts of a set you can scan the pile of bricks and one of your sets may appear. For the scanner to work you need more than 150 bricks. Check for any big parts, as they won’t scan, and make sure the pile is spread out so that more bricks are picked up (I think 1800). It also will not pick up DUPLO or Technic bricks yet. You can add your Lego collection to the app and it will tell you how many bricks you have. There are still a few problems with the app so far. It is available on the App Store.
There are lots of great sets coming out in August from themes such as Star Wars, Mario, Disney Princess, BrickHeadz and Marvel, plus some other special releases. Here are the names of the sets:
Come back at the end of next month for September sets.
