30650 Kai and Rapton temple battle
New for the Ninjago dragons rising wave we have one of the best lego polybags has ever made
The sets consist of 47 pieces and 2 minifigure and costs £3.49 in the set you get a little temple build which is very nice but the main thing about this set are the minifigures.
The figures are Kai and Rapton which are very nice figures to own. Kai coming in a £17.99 set and Rapton in a £42.99. Rapton also has a new transparent orange katana piece which only appears in the huge Ninjago city markets set.
Unlike other sets polybags are slightly harder to come by so we ended up buying ours from Amazon.
Kai’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Flip
It’s hard to say if this a spinner or not but it is still a nice little build anyway there are three of these releasing on June 1st this one being kai’s
The set it’s self is split into two different parts the first being the spinner the second being a wall of fire

71789 Kai and Ras’s Car and Bike Battle
New for summer 2023 we have a car and a bike for Kai and a new villain called Lord Ras there are tree builds in the set first enough kai car which has big weal’s and a dragon head piece on the front.
The bike has tree weal’s and has a new printed piece on the front.
It is a cheap way to get the new Kai and lord Ras.
The set also has a little temple build.
71790 Imperium Dragon Hunter Hound
New for summer 2023 we have the evil imperium dragon hunter hound. At the time of writing not a lot is known about all we actually is it is in Ninjago dragons rising
the build itself looks like a dragon but is a hound the build itself contains two lego packs and three figures one thing we do like about it has a brick built head which we have not seen for quite sometime
The figure selection is quite strong giving us dragons rising Lloyd and Jay as well as an imperium claw general

71791 Zane’s Dragon Power Spinjitzu Race Car
New for the Ninjago Dragons rising tv series we have Zane’s new car which has a rather exciting feature to it.
For along time fans have been waiting for a car for Zane and now it’s finally here the car consist of 307 pieces 4 minifigures and two side vehicles
The side vehicles look pretty good being these hoverboard build that sits on an transparent orange disk
The car also looks really good it uses a wide range of different parts the play feature of the car is that it can do spinjitzu
One thing I would have liked to seen is a vehicle for cole

71792 Sora’s Transformable Mech Bike Racer
New for summer 2023 we have a two in one bike for Sora one of the new characters in Ninjago Dragons Rising and Lego have done very well on this set except for one thing.
The set itself contains 384 pieces 3 minifigures plus the baby dragon Riyu in those 384 pieces you are getting a side vehicle for the villain of the set and the bike mech.
The Villain vehicle is simple and basic and could be more like what we see in the show.
As for the bike mech I think it’s one of the best dragons rising sets due to the colour scheme and and the play features
The only bad thing about the set is the price for 384 parts your spending £42.99

71793 Heatwave Transforming Lava dragon
New for Summer 2023 we have our first dragon of the wave being the heatwave dragon which in our opinion looks really good.
The set consist of 479 pieces and 5 minifigures in those pieces your getting a side vehicle and a lava dragon.
The side vehicle looks a little betters than the one in sora’s bike set but still does not look that good.
The dragon is very good the wings are similar to Nya’s dragon from early this year and the colour choice is interesting like lots of the sets in the Dragons Rising wave they have a play feature and this is no exception this one can change form by turning everything upside-down.
The Minifigure selection is also strong giving us the exclusive Wyldfyre figure which re uses a piece from the monkey kid sets the other minifigures are listed below one thing I would have liked to seen is a different Ninja than Lloyd due to multiple appearances in the sets.

71794 Lloyd and Arin’s Ninja Team mechs
New for Summer we have a 2 in 1 mech being for Lloyd and Arin.
The set consist of 764 pieces and 5 minifigures in which you are building just two mechs
Arin’s mech looks pretty good using the core design for the legs and the arms and using a new dragon head mold for the front one thing we notice was on the knee pads they our using the older mech piece from the marvel mechs.
Lloyd’s mech which is much bigger, uses a dark green and brown colour scheme in the cockpit there is room for Lloyd to sit and control the mech the arms look a good size for a mech and one clutches a huge sword which is mainly made out of technic parts the legs are ok till you get down to the feet which look really bad due to the parts on the bottom the play feature in this set is that you can connect the mechs together which looks good
The minifigure selection is good giving us two heroes and 3 villains there names our below it would have been good to perhaps see Sora in the set

71795 Temple Of The Dragon Energy Cores
New for 2023 we have one of Ninjago best temples releasing in this set
The set consist of 1029 pieces and has 6 minifigures one of which being exclusive to this set
The temple itself is spread over 4 floors each with something in the temple also has a huge tree climbing up the sides of it in the rooms there is a library a shrine with a collectable dragon ball on a bell and the mysterious spirit of the temple figure
Like all the other dragons rising sets this has lots of play features in particular booby traps such as the balcony at the top of the tree another thing we saw was a well at the beginning of the temple according to logo this a portal to the merged departed realm
As well as the beautiful temple we have probably the best character selection of all the sets including an exclusive figure names below
the only thing I would have liked to seen was bigger interiors and more stuff in them

71796 Elemental Dragon VS The Empress Mech
New for Summer 2023 we have a new dragon and mech.
The set consists of 1038 pieces and 6 minifigures including Riyu the Baby dragon in the set you are building a mech glider and Dragon.
The mech itself looks pretty good being the first brick built mech for quite some time the mech is black gold and red making it look very good for empress Beatrix it also clutches a huge transparent orange sword.
The Glider is nothing to special it is made out of a few parts and some golden pieces the glider can also connect to the dragon for Jay to sit on.
The Elemental Dragon also Known as Jiro is very impressive Jiro has 4 brick built legs with lots of articulation and has to wings made with a cloth piece the tail also has lots of pieces including a new lightning piece. Jiro also has a new mold for his head and has a collectable dragon ball piece.
The minifigure selection is also very good here are the characters you get in the set.

71797 Destiny’s Bounty race Against Time
New for Summer 2023 we have the Newest version of the iconic destiny’s Bounty.
The set consists of 1739 pieces and 6 minifigures in the build you will get a dragon and the flying ship.
The dragon is very nice and uses cyan and gold Lego parts the dragon is also the figurehead on the front of the ship the dragon or so has two stud shooters on it.
The Destiny’s bounty itself looks good at the front of the ship you have a large empty gap where the dragon goes what could have been done is the bottom could have had some floor in to put minifigures in as you move further to the back in the middle there is a small thin part where the tail of the dragon goes on top there are the sails which can go up and down then a the back of the ship there is a steering weal and the interior.
As well as this behind the room is an area to put minifigures on which is very nice and the boosters that have 360 degrees spin on them so you can position them the way you want.
The Minifigure selection is ok but would have been better with another Villain.

71798 Nya and Arin’s Baby Dragon Battle
New for Summer 2023 we have the smallest dragon of the new wave this being the baby dragon battle set.
The set consist of 157 pieces and comes with three minifigures and a baby dragon Riyu. In this set you are building a dragon a villain vehicle and 3 side builds.
The side builds are a little temple and a disc shooter which looks really good for a 4+ set.
The villain vehicle is what I would have liked to seen in other sets to it looks really good and has a printed piece at the front.
The main part of the set is a dragon that looks similar to the Elemental dragon from a bigger set. I don’t know why they chose a lightning dragon and include Nya in the set.
The minifigure selection is good giving us the figures below.

71799 NINJAGO City Markets
New for summer 2023 we have Ninjago biggest set ever releasing at 6163 pieces. here is a look the newest part to the Ninjago modular system
When you start building, you begin with the 1st baseplate which has a 24 hour convenience which sells lots of things next to that is a place for the monorail to go next to that is a ramp for figures to get to the monorail.
Above the Karaoke club, you will find a sushi shop which has a giant crab on top. On the other side there is a flushing toilet which has a little leaver in which takes brown studs to the bottom of the city.
Seconded half
Back to the bottom on the other side there is a bridge that uses an interesting amount of parts and looks beautiful The first shop on the other side is the bakery where the interior can come out for easy play access. it also has lots of bread inside.
Next to the bakery you will find a blacksmith shop run by Kai inside there is a forge and a Transparent orange katana. there is also a trapdoor leading up to Kai’s apartment on the next floor. Kai’s aparment is very hard to access so we suggest you don’t put any minifigures in.
Next to Kai’s apartment is Racer 7 (blazey h speed) apartment which is small and can be easily accessed by removing the interior there is nothing except a bed in this interior
On the third floor there is the classic walkway in Ninjago city sets as well as another bridge to get over to the other side also on this floor there is the other monorail entrance and a lift for wheelchair uses.
Beside the monorail there is a Borg store which spreads over 2 floor the first being a shop with Phone and tablets in the second being an office wit another lift in.
The monorail consist of a yellow cab attached to a long black pole the monorail is a bit slow but does the job
In a Ninjago city set you would except a good minifigure selection and this is no exception with 21 minifigures.
